NOT tech, OU, or A&M...

AHA!

McCoy named co-player of the week

Texas quarterback Colt McCoy and Kansas State’s Josh Freeman were selected as the Big 12 Conference’s co-offensive players of the week.
McCoy enjoyed a near-perfect performance in the Longhorns 52-10 win over Florida Atlantic, completing 24 of 29 passes for 222 yards and three touchdowns, while rushing for 103 yards and another score on 12 carries.
It’s the second time in McCoy’s career — and the second in five games dating back to 2007 — that he hit the 200/100 benchmark. He’s only the second other Longhorn quarterback in school history to accomplish it more than once. Vince Young did it fives times from 2003-05.
Freeman accounted for five touchdowns, three through the air and two on the ground.
