UT Recap: Movie Quote Edition

When you can balance a tack hammer on your head, you will head off your foes with a balanced attack

Loved the balance: 232 on the ground and 271 in the air.

You must lash out with every limb, like the octopus who plays the drums.

Colt looked better than I’ve ever seen him; running and passing. He’s more poised, smarter and a good bit bigger this year. I’m thinking he’ll throw 6 interceptions and 32 TDs and add about 9 more on the ground.

Don't mess with the volcano my man, 'cause I will go Pompeii on your... butt.

The defense gave up some long plays in the first half but kept it locked down in the red zone. I was a little worried about playing a white kid, Gideon, at safety, but he is fast as all get up and hits hard. The second half was a complete and utter throttling. They held FAU to around 30 yards in the air and next to nothing on the ground. Stellar work from a bunch of green kids.

To learn my teachings, I must first teach you how to learn.

After a flat opening drive, Chiles really fell into the groove. Late in the second half he drove the HORNS 50 yards (49 of those on 4/4 passing) and a touchdown. He was never able to turn a corner, but he’s so effing fast that I expect him to break some long ones this season.

You must be like wolf pack, not six-pack.

No worries at all about the lack of a feature running back. The corps got the job done and, most importantly, never put the ball on the ground.

Rage... taking over...

Replay is getting out of hand. I swear the first quarter of that game took an hour.

We are number one. All others are number two, or lower.

All and all I’d say the HORNS didn’t do anything to weaken my confidence in them. I’ll know more after a couple more games, but I wouldn’t feel real excited about playing the HORNS if I were a fan of one of the other universities represented on this blog
